Patricia Secco initiated her painting studies in Rio de Janeiro.

In 1990 she moved to Washington D.C. where she enrolled in the Corcoran Institute of Art, Georgetown University.

She then studied at the Rockville Art Center and later improved her techniques in watercolor, acrylics and oil with artists Bill Newman, Kathy Blosson e Ellen Burgoyne.
